Robertson is a local, owner-run company. Your questions go to the people building your home, not a call center.
Robertson Construction was formed in Tuscaloosa County in 1995 to build, develop and sell residential property. It's still local and owner-run, with Jason Robertson at the helm.
That combination is what sets Robertson apart. The same company that laid out Riverpoint, Waterbury, Quail Ridge and Hidden Woods can build the house that goes on your lot, or on land you already own anywhere in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama.
Robertson Construction has been in Tuscaloosa for over 20 years … I have seen many of Jason's homes … from small family homes to large custom homes … Jason Robertson has the experience to build any style home from start to finish!

Yes. Robertson builds on private land and in neighborhoods of your choice, not only in our own subdivisions. Tell us where your property is and we'll talk through the site.
No. Lot purchases are separate from our construction work and don't commit you to hiring Robertson or any other builder. Most people like having one team for both, but it's your call.
Bring the plan you love or just a wish list. We'll go over layout, size and finishes with you and settle the plans before pricing.
It depends on the size and complexity of the home, the site, permitting and weather. We'll give you a realistic schedule for your specific home before you sign, and keep you updated as it moves.
Most custom homes are financed with a construction loan that pays out in stages as the house goes up, then converts to (or is replaced by) a regular mortgage at the end. Talk with your lender early. We're happy to work with the bank you choose.
